Days 1, 2, 3



On arrival into New Zealand, transfer to the domestic terminal for your flight to the Bay of Islands in the north of New Zealand. A great starting point for your adventure as you journey the length of the country to Queenstown, just 200km's off the southern most point of the South Island.

The Duke of Marlborough is one of New Zealand's oldest hotels - an iconic waterfront property situated in the historic seaside village of Russell. As such, it offers a wonderful touch of yesteryear. Its charming waterfront rooms offer lovely views over to Paihia and Waitangi and the rest of the Bay of Islands.

Join sail Cool Change for a day of exploration through the Bay of Islands. Cool Change is an awesome 54 ft sailing catamaran, offering you a totally unique way to experience New Zealand's world famous Bay of Islands. Enjoy level sailing, all-round visibility and heaps of comfortable space, inside and out.


Days 4, 5, 6, 7



Acacia Cliffs Lodge offers luxury accommodation overlooking Lake Taupo. Designed with contemporary New Zealand flair and set on 2 hectares of landscaped grounds this luxury boutique lodge offers panoramic views over Lake Taupo, Acacia Bay and the snow capped mountains.

Meet Tom, an experienced Maori chef, outdoorsman and search and rescue specialist (tracker) and is passionate about sharing the magic of the New Zealand bush with his guests. Tom combines wonderful Maori/Irish humour with a deep knowledge about Maori relationship with the land. He manages a 5,000 acre block of Maori land up in the Kaimanawa Ranges, an hour outside Taupo, and takes guests as well as Maori groups out there to hunt, gather, cultivate, prepare, cook and hike.

Explore Rotorua, just an hours drive from Taupo. Included are admission tickets to Wai-o-tapu, a surface volcano that provides an interesting geology and geographic display. Sculptured out of volcanic activity and thousands of years in the making, Wai-O-Tapu is considered to be New Zealands most colourful and diverse geothermal sightseeing attraction. You are introduced to a uniquely different natural landscape the key to what you see lies below the surface one of the most extensive geothermal systems in New Zealand.


Days 8, 9, 10



About 100m over sea level, Split Apple Lodge - Boutique Ecotel & SPA offers breathtaking views over the Tasman Bay, the Marlborough Sounds and the Abel Tasman National Park Hills. Enjoy a contemporary design in a rural surrounding, stylish but loving atmosphere and individual service. The owner-run Lodge features expansive indoor and outdoor areas, a brand new outdoor SPA and the most welcoming charm, year-round and all day long.

Join Abel Tasman Charters for a day cruise and explore the Abel Tasman National Park's coastline, past Split Apple Rock, Kaiteriteri, Marahau, round golden sandy bays, Adele and Fishermans Islands, and on to Tonga Island seal colony.

Nelson is known for its artisan food producers and local artists. There are also good walks, cycling tracks and excellent vineyards to discover.


Days 11, 12



Travel across the top of the South Island to Kaikoura which is on the coast where the Whales swim.

Located in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Hapuku Lodge is a 5 star Eco-Retreat just a few kms north of the eco-marine town of Kaikoura. Nestled 30 feet in the air, the tree houses sit amongst a native Kanuka Grove underneath the majestic Kaikoura Mountains.

The whale watch safari is a great adventure to learn about the incredibly rich marine life of this area. Kaikoura is one of the few places in the world where Sperm Whales can be seen year-round and close to shore. They congregate here because the 3km deep Kaikoura Canyon runs right up against the coast creating a rare system of sea currents that sustain an incredibly rich marine food chain. Spot one of the young sperm whales before it dives under again reaching depths of up to 1000m.


Days 13, 14



This high country family welcome you to their property where you can enjoy life in this very remote part of New Zealand. Lake Heron Station is a high country working farm located in a remote spot in the Southern Alps of New Zealands South Island.

Explore Lake Heron Station. This is big station country - broad vistas, grand skies, pristine streams and clear air. This experience will give you a sense of exploration and a connection with the early pioneers of this land. Adventure, relaxation, and farm life are the heart of a visit to a Lake Heron Station - fish, hike, bike, swim, kayak, row, birdwatch, overnight at a station.


Days 15, 16




Set on a ten-acre estate just outside Lake Wanaka, Lime Tree Lodge offers stunning uninterrupted mountain views. Featuring a solar- heated pool, spa pool, petanque court and extensive gardens, the property offers a homely feel for guests coming from all over the world.

Welcoming local and knowledgeable staff are on site at all times to look after guests. Alpacas, lambs, rams and chickens are on the property and love being fed by guests during their stay.

Start with a helicopter flight over Mt Aspiring National Park, taking in aerial views of the glaciers and glacial lakes that abound in the park, en-route to the icon of the Southern Alps - Mt Aspiring. Includes one alpine landing for a photo opportunity. Then land in the remote Siberia Valley and enjoy a 3 hour wilderness walk on a well marked track. At the end of your hike, rendezvous with Wilkin River Jets for a river jet safari on two wilderness rivers back to base. Low+ / Med energy level.


Days 17, 18, 19




Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel, situated between two parks with expansive views of Queenstown and the surrounding mountains, is only a 300 metre flat walk to central Queenstown with its cafes, bars and restaurants.

One of the must do's in New Zealand, today you get to go by helicopter to Milford Sound. This flight will show you the best of this region; from the high alpine lakes and waterfalls, to the coastal fiords and glaciers.

Your flight will start over Ben Lomond and the Richardson Mountains, then past Glenorchy at the head of Lake Wakatipu. You fly over the Southern Alps and the blue waters of Lake Erskine, before continuing to the source of the Sutherland Falls, Lake Quill. From here you will head towards the rugged West coast and then fly up Milford Sound itself past the iconic Mitre Peak.


Days 20, 21




Unwind at Hilton Hotel and admire stunning ocean views 300 meters out to sea. Positioned on the waterfront within Auckland’s city center, the Hilton offers luxury accommodation just a five-minute walk from the Viaduct, home to a wide range of good restaurants and bars.
