Days 1-2

Buenos Aires

Your Argentinean experience begins in Buenos Aires, a culturally and architecturally rich capital that blends history with vitality. Stroll through the city's diverse neighborhoods, enjoy its mouthwatering cuisine, and revel in the city's vivacious nightlife. It won't take long to search out a square that comes alive with dancers demonstrating the tango. (You might be asked to join in.) On Sundays, you can visit the San Telmo street market, home to local artists of all kinds and a bustling scene.

During your time in Buenos Aires, you'll stay in Hub Porteño, an 11-suite boutique hotel with stylish modern design that shows off its class and character. Located in the Recoleta district, an elegant neighborhood with a timeless atmosphere, Hub Porteño is dedicated to creating a highly individualized experience for each one of its guests, staffed by experts who are available round the clock to help you make your stay in Buenos Aires the best it can be.

Days 3-6

El Calafate, Argentina

From Buenos Aires, you'll fly to El Calafate, Argentina, home to Estancia Cristina, one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. This side of Patagonia features magnificent glacial landscapes—massive icebergs, stunning mountains, rich forests. You won't believe all the opportunities for unforgettable adventure, from trekking over glaciers to sailing among ice massifs on Lake Argentino.

The first two nights of your stay are in Estancia Cristina, an outpost so remote it can only be accessed by a boat. This luxury lodge is located on a working sheep farm where you'll be disconnected from the outside world and can allow yourself escape into the beauty of the countryside. Surrounded by so much wild scenery and traditional lifestyles, you can't help but feel more connected to not only nature but also yourself.

The second two nights in the area will be spent at Los Ponchos, which will envelop you with its spaciousness, natural light, and acres to wander and reflect.

Days 7-10

Torres Del Paine National Park

The next stop on your South American adventure is Patagonia, in luxurious accommodation deep within iconic Torres del Paine National Park. From here you can explore a private forest reserve with crystal-clear mountain lakes, impressive glaciers, distinctive granite massifs, majestic waterfalls, and an expansive ice field. You won’t want to miss the Towers Hike—an 11-mile trek that cuts through dense forests and a rock moraine and culminates in breathtaking vistas, where it seems like the whole of the park is laid out beneath you. Only then will you understand why Torres del Paine is known as the eighth wonder of the world.

Patagonia Camp is itself someplace special. Composed of 20 yurts modeled after Mongolian nomadic dwellings, each one features a clear dome in the center, so while you relax inside at night, it still feels like you're under the clear Chilean sky. This gem of a property also offers an immersive experience that you can feel good about—an environmentally friendly focus is one of its tenets.

Days 11-13

Parque Futangue

From Camp Patagonia, you'll head to Parque Futangue, a private nature reserve on the shores of Lake Ranco, one of the largest lakes in Chile. You'll want to soak up the relaxing atmosphere of the Valdivian temperate rainforest, a rare old-growth ecoregion with an amazing amount of biodiversity. Also part of the park are a majestic mountain range and cascading waterfalls located throughout the Riñinahue Valley.

The charming Hotel Futangue and Spa, built out of native wood, has your relaxation in mind. You can unwind at its beautiful Triwe Spa, which overlooks the outdoors and incorporates elements of the forest.

Days 14-18

Atacama Desert

After experiencing the rugged and remote South American forests and mountains, refresh and recharge in cosmopolitan Santiago, Chile's most dynamic and sophisticated city. A night at Singular Santiago will leave you rejuvenated for your final destination: the Atacama Desert.

The Atacama Desert is one of the most remarkable places on the planet—vast, arid, geologically stupefying, with some of the clearest skies in the world, which makes it a premier stargazing destination and major hub for astronomical research. You'll have plenty of time to gain an in-depth view of the desert's mysteries, best discovered on highly individualized trips to its dunes, hot springs, canyons, ancient ruins, and more, all at your own pace.

The architecture of Alto Atacama Desert Lodge and Spa was designed to feel like an extension of the land itself, built into an ancient adobe wall. It feels like a true oasis where you can wind down come evening with a good meal, some Chilean wine, and congenial company. It's a fitting end to a trip that has been focused on singular South American destinations and experiences that have connected you to some of this continent's most beloved natural landscapes.
