NAY PALAD Bird Nest
Built to mimic the intricate design of a bird’s nest, this aptly named outpost is located in the heart of Laikipia, within Segera Retreat.
Segera Retreat’s Nay Palad Bird Nest is Out of This World
The NAY PALAD Bird Nest could be Kenya’s most sensational safari experience yet.
Built to mimic the intricate design of a bird’s nest, this aptly named outpost is located in the heart of Laikipia, within Segera Retreat. This area between Mount Kenya and the Great Rift Valley is a true haven for Kenya’s abundant wildlife species, including the Big 5 plus many equally celebrated animals of all shapes and sizes. And while any stay at Segera is a breathtaking experience in itself, a night at the newly crafted NAY PALAD Bird Nest will send your safari over the top.
Imagine this: you’ve just spent the afternoon on a game drive or bush walk, but instead of returning back to your room at Segera for the evening, out of the bush appears a magical retreat just for you. Lanterns illuminate the Bird Nest as you are greeted with champagne and culinary delights, picnic style, as the sun sets over the savannah. After dinner you’ll watch the African stars begin to sparkle through the night sky, and have the option to sleep in the open air top deck or beneath in the sanctuary of the nest. With a fully equipped bathroom (and breakfast on the way the next morning) all that’s left to do is watch and listen for the elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife frequenting the river below and fully indulge in this one-of-a-kind sleepover beneath the stars.
Perfect for honeymooners and couples, the NAY PALAD Bird Nest can also fit children—as long as they are up for the adventure of sleeping on the top deck!
One phenomenal overnight outpost for small families or couples at Segera Retreat
